# Can I use the fund data commercially in my product?

**Short answer:** Yes on Pro ($49 a month), Scale and Enterprise, which include a commercial licence to use the data in your own products, internal tools, client reports and websites. Free and Starter are for personal, evaluation and non-commercial use. The licence covers displaying and processing the data in your application; it does not allow reselling the raw feed as a data product. Pro and above may also drop the FundFacts branding from generated factsheets.

## By plan

| Plan | Use |
|---|---|
| Free, Starter | Personal, evaluation, internal prototypes; not for products sold or shown to clients |
| Pro, Scale, Enterprise | Commercial: SaaS products, advisor tools, client reporting, websites, apps, internal systems |

## What the commercial licence covers

- Displaying the data to your users and clients, in any form.
- Storing and processing it in your systems, including derived values.
- Generating documents (factsheets, reports) from it; Pro and above may remove the "Powered by FundFacts API" line from factsheets.
- Combining it with your own data.

## What it does not cover

- Reselling or redistributing the raw payloads as a data feed or bulk dataset.
- Using the API as a scraping proxy for third-party sites.

## Attribution and disclaimers

The figures are read from documents published by each fund's management company; your product should show `data.dataAsOf` next to figures and a "not investment advice" disclaimer where the data is shown to investors, which is what the regulation expects anyway. The full [terms](https://fundfactsapi.com/terms) are short and worth reading.

## FAQ

### Can I show fund data on a public website?

Yes on Pro and above. The ETF comparison website use case describes a typical setup, including caching and the disclaimers to include.

### Do you offer a DPA or an SLA?

Enterprise includes a DPA, an SLA and a named contact on a monthly invoice.

## About FundFacts API

FundFacts turns any fund or ETF ISIN into one dated factsheet (fees and KID costs, the 1–7 risk indicator, holdings, sector and country exposure, returns) read from the fund house's own documents: as a client-ready PDF under your firm's name for advisers and wealth managers, as JSON through its API for developers, or inside ChatGPT and Claude through its MCP server.

FundFacts works inside ChatGPT and Claude as a connector (a remote MCP server): ask about any fund or ETF by ISIN, ticker or name and the assistant answers from FundFacts' dated figures, fees, risk, holdings, exposure and returns, with fund cards, side-by-side comparisons, holdings overlap and portfolio look-through.
